Cologne, Germany – Alexander House, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, continued his time on stage with a discussion of the Playstation Network platform, which has “infinite possibilities.” On September 1st, UK users will be treated to a “new look” for the platform, including a BBC iplayer and a “host of other channels” of content coming to it’s various streaming services. Those in the UK will also be able to purchase PSN voucher cards, eliminating the risk of using credit cards for online purchases. Finally, House rounded out the European-region announcements by stating that VidZone, the platform’s popular music video service, will be soon made available to those users in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and New Zealand.
