During the second week of the celebrations surrounding Direct2Drive’s fifth anniversary, the digital distribution platform is offering several popular action games at a price of 5 USD or GBP each. Together, the games would normally set you back $229.50. For this week only, the ten games together would cost you $50. For more details on which games are available, please follow the link.
The offer lasts from today, 14th of September, until next Monday, September 21st. Games included in the offer are:
- Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (2009) (Elder-Geek.com review here)
- Bioshock (2007)
- Sid Meier’s Pirates! (2004)
- Saints Row 2 (2008)
- STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007)
- Frontlines: Fuel of War (2008)
- Thief: Deadly Shadows (2004)
- Serious Sam Gold (2002)
- Max Payne 2 (2003)
- Major League Baseball 09 (2009)
More information regarding the offer can be found here. Celebrations for the service owned by IGN.com will continue for 3 more weeks after this deal comes to an end. Next week, Direct2Drive will offer a discount on selected RPG / MMO titles. During the week following that, indie games will be available at a discount. During the final week of celebrations, war games will be offered at a discount.
Some of these would have been a great deal at $10 (especially with the 360’s On-Demand versions of “Bioshock” and “Saints Row” going for much higher)…but alas my PC setup is crap for anything close to modern gaming.
