EA Los Angeles has announced today that the stand-alone expansion pack to Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 called “Commander’s Challenge” was launched on Xbox Live today. The DLC will be made available on Playstation Network next week, on the 24th of September. For more information, please follow the link.
According to the press release, the Commander’s Challenge will include over 30 hours of gameplay spread across 50 different challenges. As players clear these challenges, they will unlock more units and technology, as well additional challenges. Challenges are generally a unique setting or battle that need to be completed within a set time.
The Commander’s Challenge is available at 800 Microsoft points, which equals $10 or 8 GBP. The pack will be released at the same price on Playstation Network. The Commander’s Challenge was also included in the PC stand-alone expansion Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising that was released in March this year.
