First arriving on the Xbox 360 in 2007, the Blue Dragon series has taken on a new genre with each installment, and the third installment in the franchise looks to continue that tradition. Returning to the Nintendo DS, the game (given the yet untranslated subtitle Ikai no Kyojuu) will play out much like Diablo, a hack-and-slash action RPG with up to 4 player co-op. Playable on the show floor, reports have revealed very little about the game’s finer details, although the ability to create your own character for the first time in the franchise has been announced. Keep it tuned to Elder-Geek.com for the latest details.

  1. This was actually announced long ago. With the new action RPG gameplay, and the Akira Toriyama designs, it sort of reminds me of the early footage of Dragon Quest IX 😛
