The latest expansion pack to the critically acclaimed MMO The Lord of the Rings Online is set to quest to store shelves this December 1st. Developer Turbine also announced a “LOTRO Adventurer’s Pack” which cryptically contains “everything a player will need to survive in Mirkwood,” to be released the same day (Elder-Geek guesses the term is just referring to a loftily titled collector’s edition.) Interested players can also take advantage of several pre-launch offers, starting today, at the Mirkwood site.
