With the going controversy of the MA15+ rating for Left 4 Dead 2 resulting in a ban of the game in Australia, Valve has taken initiative and made an exclusive edition dubbed ‘edited version’. Through agreement with the Australian government, the edited version will “no longer contains depictions of decapitation, dismemberment, wound detail or piles of dead bodies lying about the environment.” The original version of the game is currently to be reviewed for its rating on October 22 by the classification board. Left 4 Dead 2 is set to release on the 17th of November.
