SquareEnix has listed Final Fantasy XIII for sale on their website today, thereby revealing the boxart for the game. The design, little more than the official logo for the game, can be found after the jump. The game is out early 2010 in the United States and Europe for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, but will release December 17th in Japan as a Playstation 3 exclusive.

So plain and simple, I thought there would be more detail, maybe at least a main character or something. I hope the US and European box art will be better.
I don’t know, I think it kind of stands out due to it’s simplicity amongst all the other boxarts out there, but I think they could have done something a little bit more special or something… we’ve been looking at this logo for ages now.
Not really a reveal–they’ve been doing this for over a decade. The Amano logo on white.
It’s alright I guess but I thought they would have more than just the logo on the box. Maybe the logo with Lightning or a couple of the characters, but o well it still looks good. Maybe the North American and Europe covers will be different.
