NCSoft Expects Guild Wars 2 in 2011
11 Nov, 2009

After the company published impressive yearly results earlier this week, NCSoft has stated in an interview with Gamespot that they are expecting the highly anticipated free-to-play MMO Guild Wars 2 to enter beta stage somewhere in 2010. They also stated that they expect a full commercial release in the following year. No new information regarding the game itself was released in the interview.
The game was originally revealed in 2007, but no major revelations were made until earlier this year at GamesCom, where a new trailer for the game was shown. NCSoft also stated that the game was originally planned for a 2009 release.
