The event, which revolves around Blizzard’s major franchises (Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft) has been held annually since 2005, with the exception of 2006.

The event will allow visitors to get hands-on playtime with upcoming Blizzard games and feature contests and tournaments in relation with Blizzard games. Details regarding specific events, ticket availability and ticket pricing have not yet been revealed. The official Blizzcon 2010 website, on which further announcements will be made, found here.

    1. Yeah it was quite impressive how fast they sold out. People like their Blizzard games. I am guessing most of those people enjoyed WoW.

      1. not at all. There are more active users on battle.net then there are in WoW. Not by much, but a small amount. The interest seemed to be split pretty much 40/40/20 between WoW/SC2/D3… maybe 40/35/25… but it wasn’t a huge majority of WoW-ers…

It was an awesome event though… and I got to be on tv(DirectTV that is) because of it.

        1. Nice, I just wish I could go, but alas, school is in session then and there are school football games to attend (I get cheap tickets for being a student).
