Halo 2 Players to Get Reach Beta

In response to Xbox Live being shut down for the original Xbox on April 15th, Microsoft is giving those who subscribe to Xbox Live via the original Xbox a free three-month Live Gold membership, 400 Microsoft Points* and an invite to the Halo: Reach beta. Microsoft is mailing out codes soon via e-mail and/or Xbox Live account message.

*400 Microsoft Points valid for 365 days

    I guess this is cool… but it is definitely a ploy to get the remaining Xbox gamers to buy a 360, but at least it is cool.
