Heads up, PC gamers! Paradox is gearing up for the sequel to their cult hit Mount & Blade. To mark the occasion Paradox is granting immediate access to the beta build of Mount & Blade: Warband to pre-ordering customers. For a list of participating retailers, you can click here.

Mount & Blade: Warband is providing gamers a complete graphical overhaul, multiplayer battles and a whole new campaign.

You can become the ruler of the faction of your choice. Oh, and you can marry a lady of the realm either for some lovin, or just to win the hearts and minds of your followers.

I have a feeling a lot of us are going to lose a lot of sleep playing this.
