Cult favorite director (and video game enthusiast) Guillermo Del Toro has confirmed to MTV’s Multiplayer games blog that he is working with an unconfirmed – but assuredly “big” – game company on multiple projects. No details have been revealed on any of the projects, but one can assume at least one of them is related to one of his upcoming film projects, which includes a Pirates of the Carribean-esque film treatment of The Haunted Mansion.

“One of the things we’re announcing in the next few weeks is a big deal with a big company,” del Toro told MTV. “We’re going to do games that are going to be technically and narratively very interesting. It’s not a development deal. We’re going to do it. We’re doing them. And we’re going to announce it soon enough.”
