The recently delayed shooter from Crytek has set its new release date in the beginning of the next fiscal year. Announced via Twitter post, Crysis 2 is now set to launch March 22nd in the United States, with Europe getting the game three days later on March 25th. The game, hoping to be a landmark release in the emerging 3D market, was originally delayed for purposes of general polish. Crytek’s shooter is just the latest to make the short jump from Q4 (a relatively busy period during the fiscal year) to the comparatively/formerly dry Q1 period. Crysis 2 will release on PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
