Celebrities have been no strangers to Activision’s Call of Duty franchise; from Giovanni Ribsi in the original FPS to Keifer Sutherland in World at War. The latest in the series, Black Ops recently name dropped its batch of talent, and it doesn’t end with the voice-overs. Veteran actor Gary Oldman will continue his World at War performance as Viktor Reznov, and Ed Harris has signed on to provide the voice of CIA agent Jason Hudson. “Helping out” on the script front is David S. Goyer, most notable recently for his work on both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”
