We reported earlier this week on a pretty wicked glitch that wiped the entire save data of certain Mass Effect 2 PS3 users. Bioware has assured its costumers that a patch is on the way, also that “data and telemetry have shown that very few people have seen this issue”. According to another statement released by the developer yesterday, said patch should be in Sony’s hands today for verification and distribution. Bioware also offered a suggestion to players worried about losing their data.

“Simply restart your game every few hours,” said Community Manager Chris Priestly, “By shutting down and restarting your game, you will not encounter the corrupted save issue.”
