Just a little while ago, it seemed like the only way to get into the Gears of War 3 beta was to purchase a copy of Epic Games and People Can Fly’s first person shooter, Bulletstorm. Gamestop now has another answer. Preordering Gears of War 3 from Gamestop will get you a beta code that can be used on April 25, one week after the Bulletstorm beta participants start playing. You can still buy a new copy of Bullestorm for access, but if you’re low on cash, or just not sure about People Can Fly and Epic Game’s arcade-y shooter, this is another option for you.
