We the staff and community of Elder-Geek are fortunate. We are fortunate to enjoy the works of Shigeru Miyamoto, Hideo Kojima, Keiji Inafune, and many more. Their contributions of talent, love, and labor kept the game industry alive in a turbulent time. Japanese culture is intrinsic to gaming culture, and as gamers we often look to Japan in admiration.

But there’s more to it than that. Millions of people in northern Japan are left hungry and cold due to the recent tsunami. They are looking frantically for their loved ones, as they search for food and shelter. We at Elder-Geek know that times are tight all around the world, but the people of Japan are in dire need right now. Any donation is appreciated, and will go directly to our friends at Mercy Corps to aid the people of Japan.

The staff at Elder-Geek would like to thank you for your time, support, and your donations. No matter how great or small, your contributions help the victims of this tragedy.

Join us, starting at 5PM on March 18th and show the world that gamers can make a difference.
