A couple of video game-themed trademarks hint at some future installment in several franchises. Square Enix’s “Hitman: Absolution” is currently seeking approval from European’s trademark registry, OHIM, classified under “video game software”. THQ has also registered a trademark on “Metro 2033: Last Light”, spread across several URLs including “lastlightgame.com” and “metrolastlight.com”. While not a confirmation for either title, both companies have expressed interest in sequels for the respective franchise, IO Interactive even releasing an ARG to the effect for a Hitman 5.
