Megaman Universe, a digital-only addition to the blue bomber’s legacy that would allow players to create and share their own content, has unfortunately been canceled by Capcom. The announcement was made via a post on the publisher’s Japanese website. When translated (thanks Joystiq), the statement reads that the game was canceled for a nondescript “variety of reasons”, the departure of Keiji Inafune, Megaman‘s creator and long-time curator, likely being one of them.
