Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has stated on his blog that the second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on Tuesday, the third of May.

This second map pack, which goes by the name of ‘Escalation,’ will include four new multiplayer map, as well as a new map for the Nazi Zombies gamemode. One of the maps pits players against one another on the rooftop of a Cuban hotel, while others feature an ambushed military convoy, an abandoned Russian zoo, and a Russian town with hidden WMD-facilities.

The DLC will be launched exclusively for the Xbox 360 in May, with a release for Playstation 3 and PC slated for an unspecified date sometime in the future. A price for the map pack has not yet been confirmed.
