5th Cell (Scribblenauts, Drawn to Life) announced recently that they are delaying their Xbox Live Arcade-bound third person shooter Hybrid into sometime in 2012. Jeremiah Slaczka, head of the studio, stated that the game has been delayed in response to the audience reaction received at GDC.
“Hybrid was very well received this past GDC; people really seemed to enjoy it,” Slaczka explained, “But with an additional year, we can take what we’ve learned and really drill down on our ideas to hopefully transform this game into something great.”
