The Xbox 360 update of Bungie’s original Halo: Combat Evolved has been confirmed to support Microsoft’s Kinect motion control setup. Halo Anniversary is, according to a Gamespot interview with Microsoft Game Studios’ Phil Spencer, one of the first titles under the company’s new policy of integrating the device into all first-party titles. No word has been given on exactly how Kinect will be implemented in Halo.

“As a first party we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse — even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.” explained Spencer.

  1. Meh, I would rather them take more time to polish up the actual look of the game than rather add menial features to the game. The visuals in the remake aren’t that great, as it now looks like an early launch 360 title. Should devote time to making it look more like Reach than adding Kinect support.
