According to VG247, SCEA president Jack Tretton has cast doubts on the supposed exclusivity of the Rockstar-developed title Agent. The espionage-title has been in development since 2007, and was formally announced during E3 2009. During a recent conference call, Rockstar-owner Take Two Interactive confirmed that the game was still in development.
Speaking to Geoff Keighley from GTTV regarding the supposed exclusive status of the title, Tretton replied that he did not “know where we’re going to end up on that.” When asked why so little information was made available since the official announcement two years back, and why the game was taking so long to make an appearance, Tretton simply replied this is something “you’d have to ask Take-Two about.”
The game has so far not appeared at E3 2011.
