According to VG247, SCEA president Jack Tretton has cast doubts on the supposed exclusivity of the Rockstar-developed title Agent. The espionage-title has been in development since 2007, and was formally announced during E3 2009. During a recent conference call, Rockstar-owner Take Two Interactive confirmed that the game was still in development.
In an investor call that also assured stockholders of the continued existence of the PS3-exclusive Agent, Rockstar parent company Take-Two announced that is delaying Spec Ops: The Line until the first half of its 2013 fiscal year (meaning between April 1 and September 31, 2012). No reason was given for the delay.
