Western Release Final Fantasy XIII-2 Confirmed for January

VG247 reports that Square Enix has confirmed its line-up for ComicCon, promising that Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dead Island, Wakfu, and Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be playable at the show. The statement also indicates that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in Western territories in January 2012. The Japanese release for the game had previously been set to December 2011. The original Final Fantasy XIII was released in Japan in December 2009, with the game releasing in Western territories a few months later, in March 2010.
