Ubisoft issued a press release earlier today, announcing that the Raving Rabbids franchise will be making its way to television. Starting early 2013, the series will launch with 26 episodes, filled with a total of 78 seven-minute CG animations. Nickelodeon has secured the worldwide exclusive rights to the series, with the exception of France, where the series will be aired by France Televisions.
According to this press release, the episodes will be created by Ubisoft’s own Ubisoft Motion Pictures, which will work together with the French development studio to ensure the series remains close to the original incarnation of the Rabbids.
