Those who still have faith in Western-developed Silent Hill games are going to have to wait until Q1 2012 (sometime between January and March) for their next fix. Silent Hill: Downpour was originally scheduled for release this November. No reason has been given for the delay.

Downpour is being developed at Vatra Games in the Czech Republic, and weaves the tale of escaped convict Murphy Pendleton, who is thrust into the craziness of the titular town when his prison transport crashes in its wooded outskirts.
