Trademark Filing Hints at ‘Dead Island’ Sequel
04 Nov, 2011
If a recent trademark filing from Polish developer Techland is any indication of the current status of the zombie outbreak, it looks like the horde won’t be contained on the resort island of Banoi. The makers of the trailer-bred sensation Dead Island have filed for ownership of the phrase Dead World, its similarities leading many to believe it to be the title of the sequel to the first-person-melee tropical zombie survival simulator. Neither Techland nor publisher Deep Silver have commented on the filing.
