Late last month, the man behind Mega Man launched his first game since leaving Capcom. Keiji Inafune released Dr. Momo’s Island, a social game where players collect eggs to raise and trade creatures, through Japan’s GREE mobile social game network. While currently exclusive for Android devices, an iOS version is currently in development. Dr. Momo’s Island was co-produced by Inafune’s Comcept (which includes both a planning organization and a production department, Intercept) and Atlus’ parent company Index. Comcept/Intercept’s next project is King of Pirates, an action-adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS.
