‘Pokemon Conquest’ Getting Ported to the West This Summer
05 Apr, 2012
The DS Pokemon spin-off project/collaboration Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition is getting a port over to the West later this year with a new name. Pokemon Conquest travels back to the Sengoku era with its familiar collectible monsters, were players can interact and battle with characters from developer Tecmo Koei’s Nobunaga’s Ambition franchise. Ambition was a popular turn-based strategy RPG series released on nearly all of the popular Japanese platforms of the 1980s, centered around the ultimate military goal of unifying Feudal Japan.
The uncharacteristic brand match-up will hit North America on June 18th.
