As appears to be the case for all major reveals these days, a resume posted online looks to have preemptively spoiled the news of a release date for Rockstar North’s Grand Theft Auto V. Alexander O’Dwyer‘s (since removed) CV suggests that the latest in the United State Senate’s favorite-est franchise ever will release sometime this October, putting it on the front lines at the start of 2012’s crowded holiday season.
Neither Rockstar nor Take Two Interactive have released a statement on the news, but we at Elder Geek have reached out to both for comment.

I siad in many comments that I believed GTA V would be out this year and I don’t mean to boast but I said about October aswell haha =P
I thought that because San Andreas was released October aswell, I can’t wait and if that CV picture is right at all then it’s good to see it’s coming out for PC the same time as consoles, brilliant.
I’m so excited and I can’t wait for another trailer, maybe showing who the main character is and maybe the storyline.
