inFAMOUS 2 Coming In 2010?

Thursday, February 11th, 2010 | Posted by Mats Paasche | 4 Comments

That’s right kids, according to the latest issue of Playstation: The Official Magazine the game is apparently underway and should release within the year. Now this is quite a stretch seeing as Sucker Punch used three years on the original game, and it’s now only one year since its release. Never the less POM is not one to make up rumors, stating that “inFAMOUS 2 will pick up a significant time after the first game, offering a reshaped metropolis.”

According to Joystiq Sony has declined comment on the rumor giving up the usual roadblock “we do not comment on rumor or speculation.” No doubt inFAMOUS will get a sequel sooner or later, though our bet is on the later. What’s yours?

Rumor: New Race Coming to Mass Effect 2?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 | Posted by Gavin Greene | 1 Comment

The recently released DLC for Mass Effect 2 may have acted as a hint for a more complex batch of content that could be coming to Bioware’s galaxy. Those logged into the Cererbus Network, the game’s unique download hub, received a new wall of scrolling text in the “news” feed that listed a story on a new sentient race, the mysterious “raloi”, had been accepted into the intergalatic community. One of the game’s NPCs also spoke a line on their being “Hundreds of races” within the game’s open world known as Citadel Space. While the Cerberus Network has released several humorous stories, most recently concerning the Super Bowl, but with their proposal of consistent DLC support, the raloi could be what gamers can expect to either be fighting for or against in Mass Effect 2.

Rumor: PSPGo to Re-Launch?

Friday, February 5th, 2010 | Posted by Gavin Greene | No Comments

There is little doubt that Sony’s digital-only PSPGo has been hindered since before its launch, leaked nearly a month previously and failing to live up to many fan-favorite potential designs. A hefty price tag and some lackluster launch numbers later, and it appears that Sony may be considering re-vamping the PSPGo’s image with a re-launch marketing campaign of sorts. Via Gamervision, it appears that the main focus of this possible re-launch will be a lower price tag, although nothing is confirmed beyond rumor status at this point. As always, Sony’s response to Elder-Geek’s call for comment was that the company “does not comment on rumors.”
