Starbreeze Acquiring ‘Payday: The Heist’ Makers

Swedish studio Starbreeze (Syndicate) recently finalized plans to acquire Overkill Software, the makers of the PSN co-op squad shooter Payday: The Heist, in a deal that will be completed this June. Starbreeze initiated the acquisition in order to bolster its ranks for upcoming projects like Project Mercury and V13. The only price point currently known about the deal is the payment of some 200 million shares of Starbreeze stock.
