Square Enix has debuted their new internally developed Luminous Engine with an “Agni’s Philosophy” demo, created “through the lens of the Final Fantasy series”. Rendered in real time, the above demo is a good marker for what Square hopes to bring about in its best for the next generation.
This was pretty cool. I wish they would make a PC game to show off that tech since it is reportedly running DX11. Really have to wonder if Versus XIII is coming this generation or is being remade for next gen.
