DayZ Rockets Past 1 Million Unique Players
07 Aug, 2012
The exceedingly popular mod – developed by Dean “Rocket” Hall for ArmA II – has just surpassed the One Million unique player mark. The mod had achieved the 500,000 mark before the Steam Summer Sale and was in range of 900,000 by the end of it. Sale or not, this mod has allowed ArmA II to remain in the top 5 within Steam’s sales chart since as early as May. As with most popular mods which get this big (Counter Strike and DotA) we can expect to see this mod released as a game in standalone form in our future.
