‘Silent Hill HD Collection’ Patched on PS3, Support Dropped for X360
09 Aug, 2012
Joystiq reports that Konami has recently issued a patch for the Silent Hill HD Collection, which was released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in March earlier this year. The patch is meant to address several issues, including those relating to low frame rates and faulty audio synchronization. However, the patch has only been released for users on the Playstation 3, with Konami stating that the update that was slated for release on Xbox 360 has been cancelled due to “technical issues and resources.”
Despite effectively dropping support for Silent Hill HD Collection players on the Xbox 360, Konami has stated that it intends to continue selling this version.
