In a recent article published by The Hollywood Reporter, it seems that MGM studios and producer Mark Johnson (Chronicles of Narnia), now own all film rights to the book that created the FPS Metro 2033, and thus the same rights to the game itself. MGM has brought on F. Scott Frazier (2010’s The Numbers Station, 2011’s Line of Sight) to adapt the source material for the big screen. Currently, there are over 20 books associated with the still incomplete “Metro” universe, all written by Russian novelist Dmitry Glukhovsky.
