Xbox World’s final issue is incoming, and the magazine is looking to go out with a look to the future. A full 8 page feature detailing the next Xbox will be the centerpiece of World’s ultimate issue, according ot Editor in chief Dan Dawkins, who told CVG that the magazine has been at the cutting edge for the news on the new hardware from Microsoft (Codenamed Durango) for the past year. The details revealed so far include four hardware cores with each one being divided into four logical cores. Early reports also reveal 8GB of RAM, similar to what the PS4 is rumored to have.
The final unit will supposedly ship with directional audio, Kinect 2.0, Blu-ray disc support, TV-in and –out, a new innovative gamepad and – at some point- , augmented reality complete via glasses peripheral. There is no official name for the console yet, and it is believed to not be named the Xbox 720. The name will be revealed along with the rest of the details when E3 occurs in next June.
