Yann Robert, Franck Sauer and Yves Grolet have announced in a press release that they have acquired the Outcast intellectual property from Atari. Yann, Franck and Yves are the founders of Appeal S.A., the studio that developed the original Outcast title.
The press release also states that the founders have “started the revival of the franchise and will soon announce further developments.
Outcast was an action-adventure game which was released on PC in 1999 by Atari.
