Spec Ops: The Line writer Walt Williams has announced on his Twitter account that he is leaving 2K Games after nine years.
“Working at 2K has been one of the most trying, difficult, and mind-blowingly wonderful experiences of my life,” Williams wrote on Twitter, in part. “I’m not leaving games, but I am leaving AAA. Not b/c I don’t love it — I totally do. I just want to try something new.”
In addition to Spec Ops: The Line, Williams most recently worked with the writing teams for Turtle Rock’s Evolve and Firaxis’ Civilization: Beyond Earth.
