Jagex has announced today that it will officially shut down Transformers Universe on January 31st, 2015.
The developer revealed last month that it would be downsizing the Transformers Universe team, as it entered the next stage of development.
“If there are any staffing issues that arise out of this additional level of restructuring, then we will discuss them with the parties concerned first and foremost,” a Jagex representative said. “As ever, we will make any possible outcomes public, but only at the appropriate time.”
The shut down of Transformers Universe comes just six months after its open beta launch in July this year.
