Ubisoft has announced that the film adaptation of Assassin’s Creed has now officially entered production.
The film was first announced in 2012 along with a partnership between Ubisoft and New Regency. Since the announcement the status of the project remained unclear due in part to a delay in the release.
Michael Fassbender is set to star in the film, and Ubisoft says it is still on track to meet its recently announced December 2016 release date.
