BioWare has announced that it will beta test Patch 5 for Dragon Age: Inquisition with a select group of PC players.
The patch will include several features including the mysterious underground shop, the Black Emporium. There, players will be able to purchase rare artifacts, weapons, schematics and even alter their voice and facial appearance with the Mirror of Transformation.
The update will also add party storage in Skyhold and a tinting feature where players can change the color of their armor.
To support the various playstyles, BioWare will be adding an auto-attack key for single-player as part of the patch, as well as options to adjust subtitle size and a shader quality setting to the graphics options.
“We want to open up our upcoming Patch 5 to a select group of PC players via signup in a closed, developer-like environment,” BioWare said, in part. “This not only allows us to more quickly identify and respond to future issues, but gives our developers a great, new way to work directly with our players.”
“Please note that due to the nature of our patch infrastructure, the beta program is currently open to selected PC users only. Unfortunately we don’t have any information on this or other upcoming patches to our broader PC player community or other platforms at this time.”
