Sony Computer Entertainment has had a rough time with the PSP, the launch of its Go! skew doing little to bolster lukewarm consumer response to the platform. The company has launched three new incentives in order to re-energize hardware interest, the first being a “Favorites” line, which will offer existing PSP titles at a $10 price point. Confirmed titles so far include Ape Escape: On the Loose, Buzz! Master Quiz, Hot Shots Golf Open Tee, LocoRoco 2, Patapon 2, PixelJunk Monster Deluxe, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo, Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow, and Twisted Metal: Head On. Third-party titles will include Justice League Heroes, Manhunt 2, Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play, Silent Hill: Origins, Sims 2, and The Warriors.

The existing “Greatest Hits” library will also see four new titles added to the catalog: Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance: Retribution, and Secret Agent Clank. New PSPGo! owners will also be eligible for a “Digital Games Pack,” which comes packaged with download vouchers for LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters.

It is easier now more than ever for new and existing PSP owners to build up their gaming libraries with amazing content.”
