Roswell, GA – Tripwire Interactive, developer of coop-zombie-mayhem-shooter Killing Floor has announced today that it will soon release a free update for their Steam-powered game. The content update will include new weapons, a new map and new functionalities for all other maps. The game is exclusively available through Steam and was recently reviewed here on Elder-Geek.
The new map will be known as ‘Foundry’, and is set in an old iron processing facility being used as a front for a top-secret military installation. The two new weapons included in the update are gaming classics; an Ak47 assault rifle and a katana blade.
A paid episode of DLC will also be available soon and add four new playable characters to the current catalogue. A price level for this content has not yet been confirmed.
