Former CD Projekt RED producer Tomasz Gop announced the first few details about his new fantasy action-RPG project. According to an update on his LinkedIn profile, the title to his new IP will be Lords of the Fallen. Along with a name, Gop announced a few details for the plot, specifying that it takes place in a medieval fantasy ruled by a fallen god, along with the fact that the plot will, “allow approaching the conflict between humans and demons from various perspectives”.
Gop has also stated that the game will reward “skill and persistence among hardcore Action-RPG fans” and that the battle with the Fallen God’s generals are, “one of game’s strongest features”. Having been originally code-named “Project RPG”, the game’s combat is said to be “inspired by Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur and Batman: Arkham City, in that it features systems that are simple to grasp but filled with depth.” Along with this, the game will supposedly feature a New Game+ option. Lords of the Fallen is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2013.
