Gamespot reports that Cliff Bleszinski, who recently left his position asĀ the design director at Epic Games, has called out to Capcom to get in touch with him via Twitter, so that they can “fix Resident Evil” together. The comment is presumably in relation to the franchise’s latest entry, Resident Evil 6, which has received a dramatically dichotomous review spread.
The tweet by Bleszinski reads “Hey, Capcom. Call me. We can fix Resident Evil. Together.” While certainly seeming to be more of a good-natured jab at a fellow developer than an actual call for collaboration, Gamespot reports the Bleszinski has made several visits to other publishers since his departure from Epic. Bleszinski has been sited at Activision, Double Fine, Elecronic Arts, and Zynga, among others. Capcom has not made a public announcement as to whether it will be taking Bleszinski up on his offer.
Even though Cliff Bleszinski has been seen making visits to many publishers and studios since his departure from Epic Games, he has not confirmed what he plans to do for the foreseeable future.
