According to the Escapist, a “legitimate Ubisoft source” has verified claims that originated on Twitter that the publisher will bring two demos for Assassin’s Creed: Unity at E3 2014. One will show the single-player mode, but the other will introduce a new “narrative” four player co-op mode.
Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed: Unity for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC late last month, following screenshots from the game leaking online. It’s set during the French Revolution and will be released later this year. It is rumored that Ubisoft will also be publishing a second Assassin’s Creed game this year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, reportedly codenamed Comet and featuring a Templar as the main character.
Ubisoft updated the ‘Facts & Figures‘ page on its website revealing that the Assassin’s Creed series has sold around 73 million copies, making it the publisher’s best-selling franchise.
