The new studio started by Criterion co-founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, Three Fields Entertainment, is working on two new games for 2015.
“We have TWO titles in development and hope to release both in early 2015,” the studio announced via Twitter.
Another Twitter post revealed that after 18 years at Criterion, Paul Ross has been hired as the studio’s chief technical officer. The company is now composed of 10 employees, all of which are ex-Criterion employees.
Alex Ward announced the formation of Three Fields Entertainment in March. “We will make games for all platforms where we can self publish,” he said at the time. Although he admitted that Wii U development “probably” isn’t on the cards.
