Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 3 will be coming to PC this summer as a digital download on Steam globally, and at retail in Europe.
The PC release will feature “fully optimized visuals for the wide screen, upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.”
It will also support Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards as well as global leaderboards. The game can be played with either a controller or mouse and keyboard, and players can switch between them in real time.
Dead Rising 3 is set ten years after the events of Dead Rising 2. It features a new protagonist, Nick Ramos, a young mechanic who needs to escape a city overrun with zombies before a military strike takes it off the map.
The game was released last November as an Xbox One exclusive and four episodic DLC packs have since been added. Each pack introduced new characters, weapons and vehicles.
